Like all great athletes, the API coaching staff possesses a certain drive, commitment, ambition, passion and desire for achievement. Unlike the athletes that we train, we do not apply these traits to help us win games, score goals or make the game winning shot; we utilize these traits in our everyday interaction with our athletes to help them improve their sport performance and grow as young adults.
At API, we take great pride in being the best at what we do and have the track record to prove it. When an athlete trains at API, that athlete has a distinct competitive advantage supported by:
Educated, Certified and Experienced Coaching Staff
The API coaching staff has over 40 years of experience in sports performance training with many of the same credentials required by collegiate athletic programs and professional sports organizations including a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) - the "Gold Standard" in the sports performance training industry.
API is the longest standing performance training facility in Anne Arundel County. API offers a safe, fun and effective training environment where athletes are coached, taught, encouraged and motivated. Our facilities include a 7,500 sq ft Sports Performance and Fitness Center, 40,000 sq ft of indoor/outdoor turf fields and a 60-meter indoor sprint track.
Low Coach-to-Athlete Ratio
To ensure safe and effective training for each athlete, API utilizes a low coach-to-athlete ratio for all sports performance training sessions. For athletes looking for a more individualized approach to training, API offers one-on-one training as well.
Privately Owned and Operated
API is NOT a franchise. We are community based organization focused on our local athletes and are proud to call Anne Arundel County and the state of Maryland our home.
API athletes and parents report over a 98% satisfaction rating. Our program is results-driven with the goal that every athlete "LEAVE BETTER," mentally, physically and emotionally, after every training session.
