8U – Andrew VanLandingham8U – Andrew VanLandingham

Andrew VanLandingham grew up playing baseball in Florida. After high school, he joined the baseball team at St. Johns River Community College as a preferred walk-on. VanLandingham earned a starting position early in the spring season and an athletic scholarship for his sophomore season. He was named 2nd Team All-Conference and St. Johns River Community College Male Student Athlete of the Year. VanLandingham continued his college baseball career at Henderson State University, located in Arkadelphia, AR. He ended his college career as a .300 hitter. This is his second year coaching with API Baseball Academy.

9U – Kacy Jenkins9U – Kacy Jenkins

Kacy Jenkins was born and raised in Maryland and played baseball all of his life. During his years at Howard High School he was two-time All Howard County 1st Team and a Captain of the Team in 1997. A four-year starter at Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) he was among career leaders in doubles, homeruns, at bats, RBIs, and games played. He was the 2001 WMC Offensive Player of the Year, the Team MVP, and two time All Centennial Conference. He spent over a decade teaching at Howard County’s Rich Jenkins Baseball School. Most recently, Kacy was a Head Coach of 8U Coach Pitch for GORC.

10U – Clint Jones10U – Clint Jones

Clint Jones is a former high school varsity baseball player. He has over 12 years of travel baseball coaching experience working with ages 8U to 19U.


11U – Stephen Vaught11U – Stephen Vaught

Stephen Vaught is the Founder and President of Athletic Performance Inc which opened its doors in 2004. He has over 15 years’ experience working with athletes of all ages and sports as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Personal Trainer. He has coached youth baseball for over seven years.

12U – Tony Blair
13U Blue – Pat Boucher13U Blue – Pat Boucher

Pat Boucher attended and played baseball for Severna Park High School and American Legion Post 175. He held the Maryland state home run record in High School and made it to Rapid City, South Dakota to play in the American Legion World Series. Boucher went on to earn a Scholarship and Pitch at Charleston Southern University, and eventually Indiana University. In college, he played in the Cape Cod Summer League for the Harwich Mariners and went on to win the League Championship with the Brewster White Caps. He played a year of professional baseball for the Richmond Roosters, winning the Frontier League Championship. After his playing days were over, Boucher continued to coach. He ran a baseball/softball training center where he was professionally trained to instruct the skills of the game in the cage and on the field. This is his fourth year coaching for API Baseball Academy.

14U – John Hall14U – John Hall

John Hall grew up in Prince George’s County. He was a member of the Bladensburg Boys and Girls Club during his formative years and played Babe Ruth Baseball with the PG Dragons through junior high school. He played baseball at Riverdale Baptist School and thereafter at Prince George’s Community College. After receiving his degree at the University of Maryland he went on to graduate law school and serve Prince Georges County as a prosecutor in narcotics. Coach Hall has been coaching for over 15 years, serving as the head coach/manager with the KIYBSC Baseball program, Peninsula Bucs Travel Baseball School, and API for the last three seasons. Coach Hall brings 50 years of playing experience and several years of coaching baseball to API.

15U – Taylor Bloom15U – Taylor Bloom

Taylor Bloom’s playing experience includes high school, collegiate (UMD), the Washington Wild Things (Frontier Professional Baseball League), and the Bloomfield-Birmingham Beavers (United Shores Professional Baseball League). At the University of Maryland, Bloom earned a spot on the Los Angeles Regional All-Tournament Team (2015) and the 2016 Third Team All-Big Ten. He attended and played for Riverdale Baptist High School where he made Second Team All-Atlantic Honors (Perfect Game USA) and Second Team Washington Post All-Met (2014), was rated among the top 500 players of his age group (Perfect Game USA), and earned the Prince George’s Gazette Player of the Year (2012 & 2014).

Tayler Stiles16U - Tayler Stiles

Tayler Stiles attended and played baseball for Bishop McNamara High School. His high school accolades include 2013 1st Team All-Met Selection, 2013 Capital Gazette Player of the Year, 2013 Team Maryland Selection (MVP Pitcher), 2013 Brooks Robinson All Star (Most Outstanding Pitcher), and 2013 MD Crabfest All Star. Stiles attended and played for the University of Maryland. His team won three NCAA Regionals, two NCAA regional championships, and two NCAA Super Regionals. He holds 12 career wins and a 3:1 K:BB ratio with 127 K’s to just 42 BB’s in 154 innings. Stiles has over six years of coaching experience, including three years with API Baseball Academy.
