API Lacrosse Academy offers private, semi-private and small-group lessons to youth, high school, and collegiate players. Each lesson is coordinated by API Lacrosse Academy’s Player Development Coordinator, Gretchen Burke. Private lessons are an excellent way to improve specific areas of your game, get more reps and achieve a higher-level of skill and sport performance. API lessons are 100% customized to the athlete(s) based upon current skill set, playing experience and position(s) played. Whether you're looking to improve your stick-work, draw skills, defensive positioning or improve your complete game, API can help!

Gretchen BurkeGretchen Burke (Mayer) joins API as the Director of Player Development for the Girls Lacrosse Academy. She played five years of defense at Loyola University Maryland. During her career as a Greyhound, she was a two-time Big East Champion, two-time Patriot League Champion, and attended the NCAA Playoff each of her 5 years at Loyola. Graduating in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Mathematics and Philosophy, she began Graduate School to earn her Masters in Teaching Secondary Education. During her 5th year, she helped lead her team on defense to the Elite 8 in 2015, earning Patriot League Player of the Week honors.
