MEET THE COACHES

Chris Grava joins API as the Director of Player Development for Boys' Lacrosse. Chris played college lacrosse as a goalie for New England College where he was a varsity starter from his freshman year. While in goal for the Pilgrims, Chris earned Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week 2 times. He has been coaching lacrosse in Anne Arundel County for over 20 years with more than half that time at Anne Arundel High School. Chris is currently the Defensive Coordinator for Key School in Annapolis' Boys Varsity team as well as Defensive and Goalie Coach for Annapolis Hawks' 2028 Black team. Chris is a US Lacrosse Level 3 certified coach and an NFHS level 3 certified coach.

Nick Gallagher played lacrosse for Division II Frostburg State University, where he majored in Sports Science with a minor in Coaching. While on the field with the Bobcats, Nick was a "two-way middie" playing both offense and defense. In his 3 years as a starter, NIck tallied 14 points and had a career 70% shooting average. While on D, he had 17 forced turnovers and 26 ground balls. Prior to Frostburg, Nick attended Sherwood High School where he was a standout attackman. His senior year he was named First Team All Division and named to Montgomery County's  All County Lacrosse Team.
