API Lacrosse Academy offers private, semi-private and small-group lessons to youth, high school, and collegiate players. Each lesson is coordinated by API Lacrosse Academy’s Player Development Coordinator, Gretchen Burke. Private lessons are an excellent way to improve specific areas of your game, get more reps and achieve a higher-level of skill and sport performance. API lessons are 100% customized to the athlete(s) based upon current skill set, playing experience and position(s) played. Gretchen Burke (Mayer) joins API as the Director of Player Development for the Girls Lacrosse Academy. She played five years of defense at Loyola University Maryland. During her career as a Greyhound, she was a two-time Big East Champion, two-time Patriot League Champion, and attended the NCAA Playoff each of her 5 years at Loyola. Graduating in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Mathematics and Philosophy, she began Graduate School to earn her Masters in Teaching Secondary Education. During her 5th year, she helped lead her team on defense to the Elite 8 in 2015, earning Patriot League Player of the Week honors.

Megan Bunker is currently pursuing her undergraduate in exercise science and psychology and coaching for two different lacrosse programs. She played lacrosse at Indian Creek High school and received all American honors and currently plays at Seton Hill University (D2) as a midfielder and draw specialist. In her first collegiate season, she broke the school’s all-time record for most draws in a single game and most draw controls in a season. Megan went on to break and hold the national division II record for 242 draw controls in a season for two weeks and is now ranked second of all time. Megan finished the season as the conference's freshman of the year and with first-team All-Conference and first-team All-Region honors. She was also ranked No. 1 nationally for average draws per game in the 2022 season.
