iCode Summer Camps at API

We make STEM education fun! Our instructor-led, hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) classes and camps utilize gamified learning techniques to keep students engaged and excited to learn. Our curriculum team also ensures that our lessons continuously evolve with technology, ensuring your student receives a best-in-class education. Moreover, kids and teens love iCode’s exciting classroom environment, which includes the latest hardware such as gaming computers, 3D printers, robotics, and even drones!

Week I: Roblox Editor

June 22 - June 26, 2026
9am-12pm

Ages: 7-10

Campers will learn to use The Roblox Editor, a special coding environment used to create complete projects in Roblox! Throughout the week, campers will use Lua programming to add features to their games. This exciting camp takes an activity your child already loves, and turns it into an educational adventure!

Week II: Minecraft

July 13 - July 17, 2026
9am-12pm

Ages: 7-10

Campers will learn how to make Mods (modifications) for one of their favorite games: Minecraft. Learning to mod in Minecraft is a gateway to an adventure of creativity in computer skills that can be taken from video games to the real world.

Week III: Shark Tank Create & Pitch Your Own Product!

July 27 - July 31, 2026
9am-12pm

Ages: 7-14

Campers will learn how to think like a creative entrepreneur and compete in a crowded marketplace with unique solutions to tomorrow’s problems. Working with professional tools like Adobe XD will give campers a competitive edge and help them learn what it takes to take an idea to market. Campers will collaborate with other campers in completing group and individual projects. These entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to build a startup with their friends, create sophisticated websites, develop marketing plans, and 3D print prototypes. At the end of this busy week, these new start-ups will pitch their projects to a panel of iCode’s top sharks and learn how to negotiate funding!

Week IV: Minecraft AI & Space

August 3 - August 7, 2026
9am-12pm

Ages: 7-14

Step into the world of tomorrow with our 1-day AI-themed camp, where campers will uncover the incredible power of artificial intelligence through block coding! Campers will explore how AI is used to protect endangered animals, assist communities in remote areas, and study climate change, all through interactive, real-world challenges. This beginner-friendly experience introduces key concepts in computer science and problem-solving, inspiring campers to see how technology can shape a better future for our planet.

Week V: Roblox Tycoon

 

August 10 - August 14, 2026

9am-12pm

Ages: 7-14

Campers will explore the ins and outs of tycoons and create their own! We will explore the nature of gaming loops, building up their tycoon, map and theme cohesion, and overall build the tycoon of their dreams! Campers will have a pre-built world that they will be able to craft and edit as they please.
Diverse code will be supplied to guide them, so while they will learn and apply coding, they'll be able to spend time on creative design implementation and developing their overall theme.
