Coach Danny Locklear
Coach Danny Locklear began his strength and conditioning journey as an intern at API in 2016 and has since become a trusted leader in guiding athletes, teams, and groups through high-quality training designed to optimize performance.
Danny holds an EXOS Performance Specialist Certification, a USAW Olympic Weightlifting Certification, and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, which he uses as the foundation for creating tailored, effective training programs both on the field and in the weight room.
His passion for the training process and commitment to excellence empowers athletes to trust the process, unlock their potential, and achieve measurable success.
Coach Nick Gallagher
Nick Gallagher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science, where he gained hands-on experience interning with Frostburg State University’s Strength and Conditioning program. During his internship, he worked with the men’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, and football teams, helping athletes build strength, improve performance, and prevent injuries.
He is an EXOS-certified Exercise Sports Performance Specialist and has been a dedicated team member at API for the past 2.5 years, where he continues to help athletes reach their full potential through personalized training and performance programs.

Coach TJ Holston
TJ Holston is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Trainer and a 4x Collegiate All-Conference Athlete. With years of experience in weight training—starting consistently at age 17—TJ specializes in helping athletes of all ages build strength, explosiveness, and athletic performance to compete at the highest level.
Beyond athlete development, TJ is passionate about fitness for everyday individuals, offering personalized programs to help clients lose weight, gain muscle, and achieve their health goals through a combination of training and diet guidance.
In addition to his work at API, TJ is currently pursuing his EXOS Sports Performance Specialization certification to further elevate his expertise in sports performance training.

Coach Marcus Davis
Marcus Davis, a former collegiate athlete at Virginia Tech and professional player in the NFL and CFL, brings firsthand experience from competing at the highest levels of football to his role as a Sports Performance Coach.
With three years as a Director of Sports Performance, Marcus designs individualized training programs focused on strength and conditioning, speed and agility, injury prevention, and mental resilience. His passion lies in helping athletes of all ages unlock their full potential and achieve measurable results, both on and off the field.
